UPTOWN
Apartment Block
Today, your character was dumped into the middle of a big city with no idea where they are. They've exhausted themselves for today, but there are no hotels in sight. What are they supposed to do?
Well, the strange little robot says they are welcome to claim a room from the huge apartment block as their very own!
All apartments contain a kitchen, a small bedroom with one king-size bed, and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. Feel free to have your character redecorate as they see fit!
Café Deluxe
This spacious café with mocha-themed décor is a pleasant, brightly-lit place with a striped coffee-and-cream coloured awning over the door.
Come here for all non-alcoholic beverages, warm and cold, and anything from a cake to a pastry to a three-course meal. Robot is happy to serve.
The Park
An open, spacious area with vibrant flowerbeds, ornate wrought-iron lamps and benches, a large pond, various types of trees, and lots of wide open grassy space. The lamps will be switched on at night, in heavy fog, and in heavy snow.
DOWNTOWN
The Pavilion
This nightclub looks fairly unremarkable from the outside, but as you descend the dark steps into the UV-lit basement and the 24-hour music of all genres plays through the huge speakers, you begin to get a sense of how the nightlife in this city could be.
The Fancy Hats Club
Along with the top hats, fedoras and even little origami paper hats that are displayed in the window on wooden mannequin busts, in this shop you can find practically any clothing imaginable. No one knows where the stock comes from, but when you walk in that door you're almost guaranteed to find what you're looking for.
Megamarket
This sprawling supermarket contains all of the essentials that you'll need if you're to be staying in the City; foodstuffs, toiletries, hardware... You will always find the necessities.
OUTSKIRTS
Railway Station
The automatic train here will take you on a circuit past all of the main areas of the City. As well as being a fast way of moving your character from place to place, or to get to an event, some people just like riding on trains. To board, simply wait for a train and swipe your communicator past one of the turnstiles' comms detectors (these are also located at the counters of all City shops!) and you'll be let on free of charge.
The Fairground
Although a lot of people find abandoned fairgrounds fairly creepy, this one is always lit up brightly - flash your communicator to get in the gate, then you have free rein to take candyfloss from the stalls, grab a seat on the ferris wheel, wait for the rollercoaster to stop by and hop on, or sit in the teacups and whirl around getting very sick very fast. The fairground is there to be enjoyed!
