--- Frequently Asked Questions ---
If we think of something new to add to our personality, or we want to update our history, are we allowed to edit our profiles?
To allow for character development, we're allowing you to do this. Go right ahead! If we add a journal/diary feature in the future, you will probably be better off posting that kind of thing there - but for now, go right ahead and edit your profile. :)
What's past the barren wasteland?
We don't know! Heading out there with all the supplies you could carry still wouldn't get you past it, and the unspoken rule is that you don't try. Or if you do, you come back weak, dishevelled and hopeless. Lesson learned. :)
When my character gets to the city, do they lose their memory?
No! Your character is unaffected in any way by the transition. They wake up with all their memories - maybe they weren't even unconscious in the first place, and are still holding that bacon sandwich they were eating for breakfast. They don't know the City, and they don't know why they're there, but your character is the same as they've always been - just in a new setting.
Can I add something to the character sheet?
By all means, go ahead! Just don't take off any of the basics. :)
What is the weather like? What season is it?
We'll be putting up a sidebox soon that will show the weather and season. Until then, assume generic boring regular weather that occasionally rains and isn't too hot or too cold.
Can my character bring their pet with them/buy a pet/find a pet/create a magical pet out of spoons and celery?
Sadly, no. 'Removeable' pets (as far as the apartments are concerned) are banned. It would overcomplicate matters and it's possible that it could slowly evolve over time into people going around using their human as a method of transport and loopholing for the pet that they're secretly playing as instead. I've seen it happen. Beth and I agree it's best not to.
However, we did agree to allow goldfish. You may buy a goldfish and put it in a bowl in your apartment and if it dies I'm sure there will be drama. Goldfish are permitted. (:
