Mike arrived at the complex a short while later. By now, he was ferociously hungry, and entered quickly, his communicator beeping again as he walked through the doors. He looked around, wondering if there was anyone else here.

After a short ride on the train, Beth and company had arrived at the "Megamarket" stop. She smiled to herself for remembering the sign for it from before, and it turned out to only be the next stop along. Supposedly they were "downtown" in the city now, Beth guessed that the café must of been uptown then.
Stepping off the train, the megamarket glowed before them, a massive store, the windows filled with items of all sorts, aisles mazed around with a colourful flourish. It looked bigger than the clothes store, and she'd thought that was big.
Walking towards the store, Beth looked from side to side, glancing around for Mike who'd previously posted a blog saying he was here. She'd forgotton to check the time, it could have been half an hour before, it couldn't of been that long, as it had only been an hour or two since she'd been in the café with him.
Stepping within distance of the automatic doors, they opened flushing a wave of warm air out at her. Closing her eyes, she embraced the wave and smiled, stopping for a second before entering the store. Upon entrance, her communicator seemed to beep, causing her to flinch and pull it out, it soon stopping. Raising an eyebrow she shrugged and turned, waiting for the others. Her stomach growled in the silence, her letting an amused giggle out as she patted it with one hand. "I guess I really am hungry!"

With a quick pause to brush herself down with both hands, Val picked some fluff off her new black hoodie and ran to catch up with Beth. "Wow. This place is huge!" Her mood lightened considerably by the recent acquisition of snazzy new clothes, she skipped forwards merrily and dashed past her friend, heading immediately for the snacks section.
"I'll cover short-term!" she called over her shoulder, grabbing at bags of crisps and stacks of chocolate. Clearly this was nauseatingly unhealthy, but for now she just wanted something she could eat.

Day 2
Caitlin followed Val into Megamarket, shielding her eyes from the bright lights. The warmth that the store provided was a relief and she sighed. She saw Val run off to get snack foods. "I'll cover drinks and toiletries then" She turned to Beth "see you in a minute" then walked off at a comfortable pace towards the drinks aisle.
Walking down it she grabbed a couple bottles of vodka and some rose wine before heading up to the soft drinks. She sighed 'God knows I need something strong to drink after this'. Caitlin saw something shine at her from the corner of her eye, she turned to face it and almost dropped her precious alcohol. They had Irn Bru. She let out a shout of joy and rushed over, stuffing as many bottles into her arms as possible, while still holding onto the vodka and wine.
Caitlin let a fustrated groan "What I wouldn't do for a trolly...There's no way I can carry all of this, plus I want to get other drinks too" she looked longingly at the bottles of Cola and lemonade not too far away.

Mike had heard the trio enter, but by the time he arrived back at the entrance only Beth was still there. He smiled - the other two had presumably dashed off to find food. He himself had used the time spent waiting for them to find a bottle of pop and some crisps, which he had scanned and was now eating. He smiled cheerily at Beth and approached.
"Hey!" he smiled, "You managed to catch up with Val, then?" he turned and gestured at the aisles. "This place is huge, seriously. There's EVERYTHING in here. Heh, I normally hate shopping, but this place is amazing! Oh, by the way, not sure if you know this already, but there's a huge block of apartments a little walk away, looks like it's the only place to stay round here."

Beth laughed as both friends charged off in different directions, pondering by the entrance, she was about to take off herself before Mike appeared. Smiling at him, she raised her hand in greeting "Hello!" Shoving her hands in her pockets, she turned to speak to him, following his gestures as he pointed at the aisles. "Yeah..I found her, also found another friend of mine, she's gone off too. I suppose they'll need a trolley.." Stepping to the side, she pulled out a trolley from an inside trolley row, one of the medium sized ones. She didn't expect them to be doing a large shop as they wouldn't be able to carry it all, but she guessed they'd need more than a basket.
Beginning to wheel the trolley, she continued to listen to Mike as she headed down towards the aisles. "An apartment eh? That could be helpful.." She pondered, "So you left the café? Did you see anymore people?" She asked, "I checked the blog when I replied to your post and more names than before seemed to appear." She explained, wheeling the trolley down the center aisle, noting it as "chilled-items" as the fridges either side of the aisle shot out cool air, causing Beth's skin to prickle in the cold.

Valencia ran into view from another aisle, skidding to a halt on the clean floor with a loud squeak from the soles of her shoes as she saw Beth pushing a trolley.
"Fantastic!" she grinned, sprinting down the aisle and rocketing past Beth and Mike, dumping her huge pile of snacks into the cart as she went. Arms now free to carry more things back, she headed this time for the frozen food section. A few minutes later she emerged from behind a shelf, her face blocked by a wall of bags of frozen peas, microwaveable pizza, some frozen prawns, a steak, some bacon and some chicken legs. All of these things she dumped in the cart again before running off to the preserveables aisle.
This girl was on a mission.

Day 2
Caitlin struggled with the bottles that she awkwardly carried. She heard Val shout and headed towards them. She breathed a sigh of relief "Thank God you've got a trotrolleyBeth have I told you how much I love you lately?" Caitlin placed her precious cargo into the trolley and cuddled Beth, before running back down the drinks aisle. She returned a few minutes later with some bottles of Cola and lemonade and placed them into the trolley too.
Caitlin giggled, adrenalin rushing through her veins as she rushed off to grab the toiletries. When she arrived, she quickly grabbed toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. She searched a little longer until she found shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. She grinned 'They have Tresemmé!! My life is complete!' She grabbed the lot and headed back to Beth and the trolly. It was then she noticed the guy standing next to her. "Oh! I'm sorry, I never introduced myself! I'm not entirely with it today. I'm Caitlin!" She held out her hand for him to shake it.

Mike followed Beth down the aisle, grinning as he heard the sound of girls frantically snatching stuff off the shelves nearby.
"Haven't met anyone else yet," he replied, "But when I went to the apartment block there was a screen that said some of them were taken, so unless it's the people who we saw at the café who have them, there might be more people out there. Did y-" he was interrupted by Val's shout, and turned just as she sped past them. "Oh, hi Va-" he began, but she was gone as quickly as she arrived. He chuckled as Caitlin also flew past them a moment later. "These two certainly got used to the place quickly," he laughed. "By the way, when we get to the apartments, go to the roof and look around...I'm more confused than ever about this place now."
He smiled an amused greeting as Caitlin returned, her arms full of various bottles. He waited till she had put them in the trolley, then shook the offered hand. "Nice to meet you," he smiled, a little shyly, "I'm Mike. Heh, I don't think any of us are really with it today. Waking up in a dumpster has that effect on you."

Beth glanced down at the bottles in the trolley, raising her eyebrow at Caitlin. "You realise we have to carry all of these...right?" She said sarcastically, glancing down at the alchohol. "And alchohol? Pfff, drink away our problems eh?" She muttered as she sped off. Turning her head back to Mike as she continued down the aisle.
"The roof? Why the roof?" She asked, before she was interrupted by the return of Caitlin, now plopping many toiletries into the trolley. "We're not on supermarket sweep guys!" She exclaimed, loud enough for Valencia to hear she hoped, laughing at the nostalgic memories brought up by the old show. "And Val, we don't have an oven...let alone a freezer! Where are we going to keep the frozen things!" She shouted, raising her voice to carry it over the aisles, turning away from the trolley as to not shout in Mike's face.

Valencia returned to the trolley entourage a few minutes later, panting from running around all over the place and tipping only two items into the trolley this time - a deep green floral-print notebook and a box of ballpoint pens. "Never hurts to have these around," she explained, sheepishly leaving out the fact that she was planning on using the book as a diary.
"I know, I know, but if Mike says there are apartments, they must have kitchens in them. They don't make you buy your own kitchen unless you want a really nice one to replace the generic one, right?" Just kidding, guys, I don't actually know a thing about real estate, she wanted to say, but fell silent and laid one hand on the front of the now heavily laden shopping trolley, helping to counterbalance the wonky wheel that all trolleys ever were guaranteed to have.

Day 2
After a while Caitlin came back and dumped some more things into the trolley. She sighed "Phew...right, i'm done with my shopping" I have an apartement, it's got all the basic things; fridge, cooker, bed, so we should be alright."
She looked towards the scanner machines. "So, should we check out, or do we need something else?" Caitlin turned back to the others for their input.

"Uh, OH, I need to grab myself some stuff! Wait here," Mike quickly darted away down the aisles. A couple of minutes later he reappeared, an armful of essentials and some food. "This should do me for a while," he smiled. "Right, let's just pip all this stuff through the scanner thing, and then we can go set up at the apartments. Hopefully we can take the trolley, 'else this is going to be a tiiiring walk."

"Oh, so do I not get anything?" Beth asked, looking round at new friends, mixed with old. Smirking, she wheeled the trolley away from the tills and back into the aisles, after about ten minutes of shoving items into the now near-to-brim trolley, such as bagels, women toiletries and iced tea.
Finishing, she drew back up with the trolley beside the tills, glancing at the others. "So, have we all got what we wanted?" She asked, "Other than getting home" She smiled, before realising how harsh what she said was. Laughing in response with fake laughter and sighing, wheeling the trolley up to the tills. "You guys get on the bag-front and i'll pass these through the scanner, okay?" She offered, beginning to scan items through the till.

"Sorry, Beth! I forgot about you for a second there. Ahaha... you go ahead."
Val grabbed some carrier bags from the tills and caught up with the trolley again, waving the bags around with a disappointed look. "There are wheel locks on the trolleys and those magnet thingies by the doors. I think we're carrying." She began bagging things there and then, putting the bags back into the trolley when they were full. Never hurt to organise things.
"I nominate Mike to lead the way to the apartments. There had better not be tons of stairs in these apartments. Someone warn me about them when we get close so I don't trip over," she chuckled, following Beth back to the tills and helping to bag the rest of the items she hadn't gotten around to doing.
