Crystalyne muttered something under her breath as she sat up from the ground, a slight headache starting to form. Last thing she remembered was angrily leaving her well furnished home after a lengthy argument with her parents. She was then greeted by a robot in her face, of which she shoved away absently, not in the mood to be dealing with such annoyances.
She heard the robot mention something about an apartment block, and the thought of having a room to sleep in would be nice. Crystalyne felt exhausted, but she managed to find the strength to walk inside. She looked at the mass of keys, picked one of the very last room in the apartment, and trudged over to the elevator, pushing the button to the last floor.
After making her way to her room, she opened the door and looked around inside. Not quite as well furnished as she was used to, but would make due none the less. She shut the door behind her, locking it tightly, and walked slowly towards the balcony, looking over the city. She smiled slightly, enjoying the view of the desolate world below.
Crystalyne continued to watch for some time before turning towards the large bed on the other side of the apartment room, moving to its location and collapsing unceremoniously on the bed without even bothering to take her boots off.
She was probably going to be asleep for some time.
