I think the library would be a good idea, it'd give the city a small place of antiquity, and maybe stories of the past?

Yes! :3 On the other hand, though, how about we leave out a history/geography section altogether? It'd mean characters would have no means of working out where they are, or learning anything about the city until we let them >:3
