Name:
Michael 'Mike' Everest
Age
17
Gender:
Male
Description:
Tall and slim, with short, spiked, dark brown hair and dark blue-grey eyes. Lacks muscle, but still retains an average level of strength. Usually wears jeans, a grey-and-white striped T-shirt overlaid with thin black stripes, and black pumps.
Personality:
Enjoys a dry sense of humour, but can be a little shy when meeting new people. He could be described as a pushover in some respects, but will put his foot down if things are definitely not going to his liking. Has a clear-cut sense of right and wrong, but tends to withhold judgment, as he prefers to get on with everyone. As such, he has gained a reputation for being trustworthy, though this, combined with his reluctance to reject people, can sometimes lead to him being used as an emotional punchbag. Despite his unwillingness to judge, if he hears that a close friend has been wronged, he will definitely hold a grudge against those responsible.
History:
A private-school education and slightly overprotective parents meant that Michael had a relatively sheltered childhood. He kept himself to himself, enjoying a small circle of close friends, but largely being viewed as 'the loner' by the rest of his peers. This got to him, and he began branching out, trying to overcome his shyness and become more outgoing. This, combined with a newly-acquired (and quite fallible) sense of fashion and likeable sense of humour, led to Michael becoming a well-liked, though not outright popular guy.
Though his image and social life changed dramatically, Michael (or Mike, as he now prefers to be called)'s interests remained constant: He enjoys most music, and had a voracious appetite for reading in his youth which he still retains, albeit in a slightly diminished form. His love for fantasy in particular leads him to expect that, should he ever encounter an odd - even magical - being, he would be okay with it. In reality, he would doubtless be petrified, but might accustom to it more quickly than some.
Mike came to the city from his family's house in England. It was a stable, happy life which he had grown used to, so it is likely that he will be dazzled by all that this strange new city has to offer.
