Waking Up [closed]

Audi was seven years old, and there were other kids in the cellar. She was aware they were dead, but wasn't sure on her state of living. A girl about her age in a ratty grey dress and the girl's younger brother - also in ratty grey, but shirt and shorts instead of a dress - watched as kids went one of two ways, either out the door on this level, or up the stairs and through that entrance way.

Audi opened her eyes. That was an interesting dream. She didn't know who the girl, her brother, or any of the dead kids wer-

Where was she? She looked around, and nothing was familiar. This wasn't her room, or her boyfriend's room. It wasn't familiar in the slightest. As many times as she had read about people waking up with no memory of how they got there, Audi personally had never experienced this, despite all the times she had moved. She had been drinking last night, but she certainly didn't remember going home with someone. And if she HAD, she didn't know what she'd tell Ryan...But she was in her own pajamas. You didn't wake up at someone else's house in your own pajamas. She rolled over in search of something familiar, and something dug uncomfortable into her leg.

Audi reached into her pajama bottoms' pocket, and pulled out something that resembled a phone crossed with a computer. That wasn't hers either. She flipped it open, and under contacts found a long list of names...all unfamiliar to her. Audi shot out of bed, heading towards the window with a view of an unfamiliar city.

Where was she?

Kat Giggled as she looked at Andy waking up ''hi there'' her high pitched voice sounded trough the room ''hey do you know where I am?'' she asked ''My name is Kat by the way, also do you know what this weird device is?'' she asked and pulled a communicator out of her pocket. ''I am not sure'' she continued to talk endlessly untill she finally fell to silence. ''wait a second..'' she shrieked ''WHAT IF THERE ARENT ANY CUTE BOYS HERE!?!?'' she yelped and started to run around the room in panic.

Suddenly, Audi noticed the girl in her room. She noticed her because she suddenly started running around and screaming. Audi's eyes opened in shock.

"Uhm.." Audi paused, trying to remember everything. "Uh...Hi, not a clue but it blogs, I'm sure there are cute boys...the device thing has boys names listed in it." Audi's eyebrows were creased, trying to make sure she had remembered everything. "Oh! And I'm Audi, pleased to meet ya." Audi wondered how she had ever missed seeing Kat...Her hair was BRIGHT PINK....

kat stopped running around and screaming and looked at the list ''b-but what if they are ugly?'' she seemed like a little school girl even though she was already 19 ''I cant live in a world with ugly boys!'' she quickly grabbed her communicator and started to looking for video's and stopped at the video of a guy who calls himself whiz ''oh thank goodness he's cute'' Kat sighed in relief and sat down next to andy.

''so you got any hobbies? I have lots of hobbies!'' Kat started naming all her hobbies which was a list of over 30 things ''and I am a cheerleader I love leading cheers! I also like to sew oh and collect cups with cute little kittens on it! also I like to party and I love theme parks oh yes ROLLERCOASTER ROCK! Oh my gosh I forgot to tell you I have these cute kitten stickers in my backpack THEY SPARKLE!'' when Kat was finaly finished talking she walked outside and looked out the window into the empty street.

''Oh my gosh.... there's no kitties here!!'' she started running in circles and screaming hystirically again.

Audi watched Kat's antics with amusement. That girl had A LOT of energy....It made sense that she was a cheerleader. She definately had the spunk for it. Audi had never actually spent a lot of time hanging out with cheerleaders personally, but here was a new oppurtunity!

"Well, kittens are kind of small, and mostly tend to stay inside. Since neither of us seems to know where we are, why don't we go look about the city? Maybe we'll find a cat. And meet that cute boy you were talking about." It suddenly occurred to Audi that it was odd they had BOTH found the same odd gadget thing in their pocket, and NEITHER of them could remember how'd they gotten here. She brushed if off. Surely after exploring a little they'd figure out what was going on...

Kat stopped running around in circles and looked at Audi ''Oh my gosh! thats such a good idea!'' she ran up to Audi and grabbed her arm ''from now on you're my new best friend!'' she said excited and pulled Audi out of the room and into the streets going ''here kitty kitty, here kitty kitty kitty'' she suddenly stopped and looked at Audi ''I dont see any kitties....'' she clearly wasnt the most bright person but she surely had a good heart.

Suddenly Kat turned around and looked down the street ''Oh my gosh Audi!! look look! its a Café! maybe there's cute kitties there!!'' with that she pulled Audi down the street towards the Café.

Before Audi new it, she had made a best friend and was in the streets calling for any kitties that were around. Audi didn't really think it would work...cats didn't like people and the noise was likely to drive them away. But she had the feeling that Kat wouldn't take that news well, so she held her tongue.

"Oh my gosh, Audi! There's a cafe! maybe there are cute kitties in there!!!" Audi wasn't QUITE sure how cafe=kitties, and the girl didn't speak french or have a french accent, so she probably wasn't from France, but Audi just shrugged and smiled.

"Maybe." And then her smile turned into a grin and she nudged Kat. "Or maybe there'll be that cute boy."

Kat Shrieked ''EVEN BETTER!'' she entered the café Pulling Audi along.

"Well," thought Audi. "Maybe now she won't be disappointed when there aren't any kittens..."
